About Ignite Zone
Ignite Zone is a U.S.-based remote coaching platform where kids in South Korea learn English through baseball. Think of it as an English academy — but instead of textbooks, the classroom is a baseball diamond.Our Play Coaches run fun, interactive 1-on-1 Zoom sessions with kids (ages 7–13) who are curious about baseball and want to practice communicating in English. A coach who can make a kid smile, stay curious, and keep coming back — that's who we're building this team with.
Every session, you're the reason a kid in Seoul gets excited about English.
What You'll Do
- Run 1-on-1 Zoom sessions with young learners in Korea
- Use baseball as the medium to build English communication skills — walk a 7-year-old through their first batting stance, in English, while keeping them laughing
- Keep sessions fun, high-energy, and age-appropriate
- Adapt your teaching approach to each kid's level, personality, and energy
- Baseball playing or coaching experience required (collegiate, professional, or organized youth level)
- What sets our coaches apart: the ability to connect with a kid in the first 30 seconds
- Warm, kid-friendly personality with patience and creativity
- Fluent English speaker
- Reliable internet, quiet space, and webcam for Zoom sessions
